LOS RETRATOS DE INDÍGENAS DE PAUL YGARTUA, EN PLENTZIA

 

 

El equipamiento cultural de Plentzia, Goñi portal, continúa acogiendo la exposición del pintor británico Paul Ygartua, de la familia de Gorliz. La muestra está formada por diferentes pinturas entre las que se pueden observar retratos a nativos, una de las especialidades del pintor. Ygartua ha viajado por medio mundo desde Norteamérica hasta el desierto cercano a Jerusalén, lugares donde ha retratado a los protagonistas de esta colección. Medio año reside en Vancouver, los veranos los pasa en Gorliz y el resto se dedica a exponer en diferentes ciudades desde Nueva York a Florencia. Hasta el día 16 está en Plentzia.

Durante todo agosto, el Museo de la Paz de Gernika amplía su horario, de 10.00 a 20.00 horas de martes a sábado y de 10.00 a 15.00 horas los domingos, para dar mayor servicio. Además, se realizan dos visitas guiadas gratuitas a diario.
