A Tribute to Robert Frank Scott (1952–2024)

Paul Ygartua is honoured to dedicate his Eagle Spirit Gallery Native Masks & Portraits collection to the memory of Robert Frank Scott, longtime owner of Eagle Spirit Gallery and a respected champion of Indigenous art and artistic freedom.

For more than three decades, Rob played a vital role in Vancouver’s art community, creating a space where Indigenous artists, culture, and traditions could be celebrated and shared. His passion, generosity, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on countless artists, including Paul Ygartua, whose work he proudly represented for over ten years.

This collection reflects Paul’s admiration for the rich artistic traditions of the Indigenous Peoples of Canada’s West Coast and stands as a tribute to Rob’s life, friendship, and contribution to the arts.
