THE MILLENNIUM

YGARTUA & SURREALISM DRAWINGS

Surrealism was a cultural movement that began in the 1920s and was characterized by the use of unexpected and irrational imagery in art, literature, and film. It was a response to the devastation and disillusionment caused by World War I and sought to challenge the traditional values and conventions of society. Surrealist artists sought to tap into the unconscious mind and depict the dreamlike and irrational elements of the imagination.
